youth programs

In conjunction with the Poughkeepsie City School District, Rebuilding Our Children and Community Inc. provides a two hour enrichment after-school program for elementary aged students of the district. Our after-school program focuses on academic assistance and skill development.

In 2019, Rebuilding Our Children and Community Inc. provided weekly after-school programming to 104 students. After-school programming was provided in Warring Elementary School, Clinton Elementary School, Krieger Elementary School and Morse Elementary School. 

In 2020, prior to the closure of schools on March 13, 2020, Rebuilding Our Children and Community Inc. provided weekly after-school programming to 80 students of Clinton Elementary School and Morse Elementary School.

Rebuilding Our Children and Community Inc. has provided out of school programming to youth ages 5-13 since 2018. 

Rebuilding Our Children and Community Inc. operates a licensed summer camp through the Department of Health and also operates a summer program in conjunction with the Poughkeepsie City School District. Both programs serve youth ages 5-13 and focus on personal development, interpersonal skills, self-esteem, as well as reading, writing, science and art in a fun and engaging manner to address youth summer learning loss.  

ROCC's summer programming serves 75 youth of the County.
